From scan results to action

I built VulTrack to support the bank's vulnerability management and examination readiness. It ingests Tenable findings across 1,000 endpoints and servers, automates triage, and produces Board reporting.

The platform tracks remediation against 15-day deadlines for Critical findings and 30-day deadlines for High findings. Post-scan triage went from weeks to minutes, replacing tools quoted at $65,000–$150,000 a year.

Security in the implementation

VulTrack is built with Python, Flask, and SQLAlchemy. Its controls include role-based access, CSRF protection, credential hashing, secure sessions and uploads, and CSV-injection sanitization. Secrets handling fails closed.

Continuous integration runs through GitHub Actions, with Dependabot for dependency updates.
